It didn’t take more than 14 seconds before the first team signed up for the Gothia Cup 2012. Gothia Tipselit Trophy has since 2009 been a part of the world´s largest and most international youth tournament in football.

Winter in Sweden, but the Gothia Tipselit Trophy-organization is planning for the summer tournament.
The fourth edition will be the best so far.
- We will have a strong line-up with the best Swedish teams and probably many strong sides from all around Europe, says Stefan Lundin, Tournament Director.
Stefan Lundin, state that 2012's edition of the Gothia Tipselit Trophy for the 17-year-olds will be extra interesting.
- I am very pleased to find that the top Swedish clubs are most likely to participate. As it stands right now, we miss only one or maybe two of the premier top teams, he says.
Stefan Lundin notices a great interest to come to Gothenburg July 15 to 21 from the big European clubs.
He is hopeful that the international teams will be of good caliber.
- We will play eight matches at Valhalla and four at Heden 4 each day during the group stage, says Stefan Lundin. Quarterfinals and semifinals at Heden 4, and the final at Gamla Ullevi.
